Possible additional problems
|
If you have entered an incorrect Login ID or password more than 3 times, the system
will lock you out.

I get an Error message: "Invalid LoginID or Password" when I enter my Login ID and
password
|
- Check that you are entering the correct Login ID and password. Your password is
case-sensitive. If your password is all lower case, make sure that the "Caps Lock"
key is not on.
- Does your password automatically prefill (with asterisks *******) when you enter
the Login ID? If yes,
- 1. Click Tools located in your Internet Explorer menu bar above.
- 2. Select Internet Options.
- 3. Click on the Content tab.
- 4. In the Personal Information area, click on AutoComplete.
- 5. Click Clear Passwords then OK on the pop up box.
- 6. Click OK in the"AutoComplete Settings" window to return to the"Internet
Options" window.
- 7. Click
OK in the "Internet Options"
window.

I do not get an Error message when I enter my Login ID and password. The Login page
is re-displayed with blank Login ID & Password boxes
|
- Is this the first time you are logging in? Ask your DIO/Administrator to check your
permissions: You need a MINIMUM of General Access and one other permission to be
able to login successfully.
- Check your local machine date-time: Dealertrack has detected that the date time
on your machine reads
. The date-time and time zone can be corrected by double-clicking on the time
display on the bottom right of the screen.
- You may need to clear your Cache.
- 1. Click Tools located in your Internet Explorer menu bar above.
- 2. Select Internet Options.
- 3. Click on the General tab.
- 4. In the Temporary Internet Files area, click on Delete Files then OK
on the pop up box.
- 5. Click OK in the "Internet Options" window.

The recommended browser encryption level (Cipher Strength) is 128-bit. If your browser
encryption level is less than 128-bit, you may not be able to log in
|
- 1. The encryption level (Cipher Strength) for your browser can be verified by clicking
on Help located in your Internet Explorer menu bar above.
- 2. Then click on About Internet Explorer.
- 3. The encryption level (Cipher Strength) is displayed below the Version on the
pop-up About Internet Explorer window.
- 4. If you do not have 128-bit encryption (Cipher Strength), please upgrade your
encryption to 128-bit from:
